Gallup Memory Lane Park

Gallup Memory Lane is an extension off of We the People Park that was created in memory of Gallup residents, past and present. After you cross the bridge into the park you encounter a lovely area of pavers that includes names of families that contributed to the project. The sculpture Hrvatska Nada/Croatian Hope is a memorial dedicated to Croatian immigrants and their families, who migrated from their homeland in the late 1800s. Many settled in Gallup and became the backbone of the coal mining industry.
