Gallup offers a full slate of thrilling events throughout the year that enables you and your family to experience firsthand the authentic American Southwest.

Spring and summer in Gallup, New Mexico, see the return of exciting rodeo events, including the Best of the Best Rodeo, Wildthing Championship Bull Riding and the USTRC roping competition. In August, as has happened for nearly a century, Gallup hosts the Inter-Tribal Indian Ceremonial — one the nation's oldest celebrations of Native American culture and art. In December, behold a colorful aerial spectacle as upwards of 150 balloons ascend into the blue skies above Red Rock Park for the Red Rock Balloon Rally, one of the most beautiful and charismatic balloon events in the U.S.
