Gallup is rich with history and culture and surrounded by beautiful landscapes. Whether you’re in town for only a day or a long weekend, these itineraries offer plenty of things to do to give you a true Gallup experience.
Wake up and head to Gallup Coffee Company for a cup of locally roasted coffee. Then, hike the Church Rock Trail in Red Rock Park for unforgettable views of the surrounding landscape. Head over to Gallup Cultural Center and Rex Museum for some local history and stop for lunch at Angela’s Cafe located inside the cultural center. After lunch, walk around the Veterans Memorial Pillars and visit the Veteran’s Exhibit.
No trip to Gallup would be complete without a tour of Route 66 roadside attractions and neon signs.
